This is my last blog post as a year 6. I hope you enjoy my memories and fun times. My next blog I will be year 7.

ARE YOU A HUMAN??

Are you a HUMAN. This is my game to test if you are a human or not. I really enjoyed this because I tested my skills. We got to choose a buddy I choose Meg. If I ever do this again would try test my skill to make a more advanced game.

Trip To FIJI with MEG

Bola and Hi, Welcome to my postcard. I worked with Meg for this we decided to set our sen in fiji. We took a photo and used the site remove.bg. I found it hard to find the right background for our photoshopping. If we did this again I would try and add different clothes. Next time I would try to add more writing and add more detail, But for now bye.

Inquiry

Welcome to my blog post. This is my inquiry, in this we had to sort out these cards into things we do like and don't like. 

The TOP one is the ticks of the things that i like.

I was surprised because I want to be a pilot and my most ticked box was business services, I was shocked. So I had a think about, I could be a BOSS.   

Down the bottom is the image of the cards sorted into things I like and don't.

I put most things in the good box.

I enjoyed this activity because it was finding out what my most ticked box was.  If  I did this again I would think more about the cards and if I like that and if I don't. I hope you enjoy my blog post.

MIHI Maker

This is my Pepeha in this task we had write our pepeha down and create a game on it, it was fun and hard. It was hard because I didn't know what some of the things were, for example my marae, so I did some research. I now know what it is. I found it fun because I like coding and making games. If I did this again I would try find away to insert a character that looks more like me just for fun. I found this challenging because I had to do lots of research to find the right answer. HMS Endeavour

On Tuesday the 15/10/2019, We had art with Mrs G. We had to choose an image of the HMS Endeavour and sketch it onto a piece of paper, there were so many to choose from it was really hard to choose, but I chose one and here was the results. 

  

We also had to make a sea. For this, we used a dip of green but mostly blue to get the water effect. I found it challenging because I don't normally draw, but I am proud with the results. If I did this again I would choose a different picture to sketch off as there were so many to choose from.   

Rugby World CUP

This is my Rugby Ball, in this task we had to look around the class and find the clues to put on piece of paper then color it. I found it fun because I liked looking around and finding the clues.

My ScreenCastify

                                                This is my SPEECH of 2019!
In this task we had to record our speech then, we had to make a slide deck of 6 slides with images that show what your speech is about. I enjoyed this task because I learnt how to use screencastify and it was fun because I learnt some hacks and shortcuts like how to present you slides quickly and, how to go from slide to slide.
So I hope you enjoy my screencastify/slide deck
I made a few mistakes, but it was my first time trying it and couldn't be bothered doing it again. Next time I will try use the hacks and tricks to make it better next time.

Polyline Profile Picture

This is my Polyline Profile that we made on google slides with this tool called polyline. I really enjoyed making my face. If I do this again I would try do my whole face. My favourite part was making all the colours.

Sustainability Tite Page

This is my sustainability title page. In this task we got a new inquiry focus and it was sustainability, so we had to make a title page of what we want as the start of our sustainability adventure. Sustainability what does that evan mean, well so far my understanding is, sustainable for example when you cut down a tree you replant it, and my understanding of ability is what your body can do. So what do you think sustainability means.

Emoji Art

This is my emoji art, in this task we had a surprise because we came to school and there was rubbish everywhere, and this was the first impression on my face. I enjoyed this because we got to create our emotions. If i done this again I would do an angry face.

30th of July

On the 30th of July 2019,  The Year 6 went on a walk to go to the Botanical Gardens, HB Williams Library and Enviro centre. In this photo me and my classmates are holding worms from the worm farm, I enjoyed learning about what worms Can and Can't eat, worms can eat vegetables, but they apperlotily hate onions. Worms perfer not eat things that are strong hens why worms don't like eating onions.

First Animation (On Google Slides)

This is my animation, We had create a short animation using google slides. I enjoyed this because I learnt how to make a animation. If we do this again I will try make my animation longer and less moves so it looks cleaner

Report Writing

In this task we got to choose what type of writing we wanted to do,  I choose report writing because I wanted to show and tell everyone that read it, why we shouldn't drop rubbish, and why we need to save the Turtles. This is my planning sheet. I wrote the steps to writing a report.

Owl Art

 We have been learning how to make owls. In this my Owl art in this activity we had to hop into group of two or three. I enjoyed this task because we got to work with other people. I enjoyed dying and drawing on the paper. I also found challenging the cutting. Next time I will try and cut better and shape the head better 

If I Were A Tree In Fall

This is my tree writing, for this task we had to write about what we would see, hear, feel, taste if we were a tree in fall. I enjoyed this because I found out a new background deleter. If you would like to check it out go to www.remove.bg.

Conflict

This is my powtoon and our task was to make a powtoon of our point of view why Conflict happens. I enjoyed this because I liked finding information about Conflict. If I done this again I would try and use different ideos.

Public Vs Private

We are learning about what  is public and what is private.I learnt what we should and shouldn't post on the internet. 

Summarize

This is our reading.We had to summarize A story the short cut.I enjoyed reading and creating the text  because it was fun and exciting.I found challenging to complete it in the time that was giving .

Help

This is my Reading. The task for this was to make a poster or if you bring your own device you could do it on that. I enjoyed this because we got to learn how to get out of a rip. If we ever do this again i would like to learn more about rip's, E.G how are rips made and stuff like that. So i hope you enjoy my poster and I will see you in my next blog post.

T-Shirt Art

This is my T-shirt witch we had to copy from a piece of paper and draw in what it said.I enjoyed this because we got to draw and create our own T-shirt.If i ever do this again i would try and draw my face better. SO I HOPE YOU LIKE MY T-SHIRT.

This is our writing borders witch we put our published writing on to be shown on the wall.If i were to do this again i would probably do something with sprinkles or pink fluffy unicorns I DO NOT KNOW.
